I agree with the Bible that inner healing is a spiritual process from the inside out! 3 John 2: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
Our heavenly Father wants his children healed. It's His good pleasure to give us the Kingdom and bless us. As we partner with the Holy Spirit, our spiritual eyes are open to the truth of who we are and whose we are. We learn to identify the lies from the enemy and replace them with the truth, and healing begins within us. We may not always be aware of what is happening, but as we trust Him, He is faithful to keep His promises.
What Is Inner Healing (In Simple Terms)?
Inner healing is a spiritual process, not usually physical, where a person asks God to help heal their emotional pain, especially from past experiences. We invite God into the places of our hearts that still hurt and allow Him to bring peace, truth, and freedom.
What the Bible Says About Healing
God Wants to Heal You:
The Bible shows that God cares deeply about our pain and wants to heal not just our bodies but our hearts, too.
Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
Jesus Healed People:
Jesus spent much of His time healing others and demonstrated how much God wants to make us whole again. ie, the man with the withered hand
Forgiveness Is Key:
Letting go of anger and forgiving others (and yourself) is a doorway to our healing.
Matthew 6:14-15 tells us that forgiving others helps us experience freedom.
Changing the Way We Think:
Healing also involves aligning our way of thinking with what the bible says. We ask God to help us see ourselves and our lives the way He does.
Romans 12:2 talks about being “transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
The Holy Spirit Helps: God’s Spirit gives us His wisdom and guides us to the truth, and this brings healing when we seek Him.
