OUR UNITY
IS IN THE KING OF KINGS
By RLM Founder, Molly Sutherland
Each of us has a destiny designed by God to fulfill. I believe God is calling his church to unity. It is time that we prepare the ground for the Holy Spirit to fulfill Christ's prayer before He went to the cross: “Father may they be one, just as You and I are One” (John 17:20-23).

Jesus gave us a commandment, that we love one another as He does. Isn't it time we obeyed this command so the walls of separation could fall? The world needs to see us love as Jesus does so it can trust what we say. Could we be the generation known by our love?

This book suggests ways in which God is asking us to prepare the ground for Jesus' prayer to be fulfilled. UNITY. It will come through love, for God is love and He is one.
Ever since she was a child, Molly Southerland has longed for unity within Christendom. She was trained in both Catholic and Protestant environments and is passionate about bridging any differences. As founder of Resurrected Life Ministries, which flourishes in both the USA and the UK, she has seen thousands of lives, both Catholic and Protestant, changed for the better. This is the delight of her life. However, the Unity that God is bringing about may be much greater than the melting of denominational divides, so we need to be alert and cooperate with His Holy Spirit to work with Him and what He is accomplishing in our midst. This is the reason she has extended this book. (www.resurrectedlife.org)

Fill These Hearts

Christopher West
This is a book about desire.  Not trivial wants or superficial cravings, but the most vital powers of body and soul, sexuality and spirituality, that haunt us and compel us on our search for something.  Weaving life-altering lessons together from classical and contemporary art, pop music, movies, and the Christian mystical tradition, popular theologian Christopher West explores the ancient but largely forgotten idea that the restless, erotic yearnings we feel in both our bodies and our spirits reveal the cry of our hearts for God.

It is truly possible for human people to walk in the divine, and Christ came to show us the way. It is by rediscovering our true identity in Him that we can begin to move into the promises of God regarding the miraculous. Bill Johnson not only teaches the supernatural, he imparts it by changing the way we think.

Christianity Rediscovered
Vincent J. Donovan

What happens when an American missionary priest leaves behind all his old familiar structures to enter the world of the nomadic Masai people of Tanzania? Donovan learned what the gospel looked like, shorn of its Western packaging. In the process he discovered the creativity and humanity of the Masai people. But he also "rediscovered" the meaning of the gospel in all its radical power - a message just as relevant and urgent for Western Christians today.

Prison to Praise

Merlin R. Carothers

Many people list this as the most unusual book they have ever read. Millions say it changed their lives and introduced them to the solution to their problems. This is not a book about a prison with bars, but about a prison of circumstances-and how to be set free!

The Great Divorce
C. S. Lewis

In The Great Divorce, C.S. Lewis again employs his formidable talent for fable and allegory. The writer finds himself in Hell boarding a bus bound for Heaven. The amazing opportunity is that anyone who wants to stay in Heaven, can. This is a starting point for an extraordinary meditation upon good and evil, grace and judgment. Lewis’s revolutionary idea is the discovery that the gates of Hell are locked from the inside. Using his extraordinary descriptive powers, Lewis’s The Great Divorce will change the way we think about good and evil.

The Normal Christian Life

Watchman Nee

His powerful meditations on God, Jesus, and the Bible bring the daily reality of following Christ into sharp focus. 294 pages, softcover from Tyndale.

Three Religious Rebels

M. Raymond, O.C.S.O

Three Religious Rebels brings the facts about the founders of the monastery at Citeaux to life by using known facts and incorporating them in novel form. It is a most entertaining and informative look at the beginnings of the Cistercian (Trappist) Order of Monks. Saints Robert, Alberic, and Stephen are portrayed as very real men. Their story is a compulsive read.

The Hawk and
the Dove
Penelope Wilcock

This is the opening title in a series centred around the fictional Benedictine monastery of St Alcuin's, in Yorkshire, and set in the fourteenth century. At the start of the first novel Father Peregrine is appointed Abbot, at the age of 45. Father Peregrine, whose name in religion is Columba, is an arrogant, impatient man, a hawk trying hard to be a dove, whose struggles to manifest the character he considers to be expected of an abbot provide much of the narrative. Peregrine is surrounded by a company of flawed, human monks who are—for the most part—also serious about their calling, and who —again for the most part—come to love their driven and hard-driving leader.

Destined for
the Throne

Paul e. Billheimer

First published nearly 30 years ago, Destined for the Throne continues to train believers for their heavenly destiny. God's eternal purpose, Billheimer says, has been the preparation of an eternal companion for His Son. This preparation takes place as Christians engage in spiritual warfare and practice believing prayer. "[A] thorough presentation of God's total purpose and destiny for the church...satisfying and demanding," said Norman Grubb, former International Director of WEC.

Secrets of the
Little Flower

Henri Gheon
Empty space, drag to resize
This book tells the story of a girl from a small convent in Normandy, who lived a life of complete seclusion, known only by a few close friends, and yet today is a canonized saint known throughout the world. Her convent in Lisieux is visited by pilgrims from around the globe, churches in nearly every country are dedicated to her, and her simple spirituality has resonated with people from all walks of life. This is the story of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux. Yet, as with any person of such fame, it is often difficult to cut through the flowery portrayals to get a glimpse of the individual herself. It was this realization that motivated Henri Ghéon, unsatisfied with the sentimentalized pictures of Thérèse then available, to pen her story.
