Brian Howes

Instructor

In 2000, sensing God’s leading during a time of transition, Brian moved to Pasadena to pursue inner healing and deliverance. He began studies at Fuller Seminary and trained under Dr. Charles Kraft, a pioneer in the field. In 2005, Brian met Molly Sutherland of Resurrected Life Ministries (RLM), who became his mentor. By 2008, he was teaching and ministering with RLM, later joining the Board of Directors and, in 2010, being appointed Director for North & South America. For Brian, RLM has been life-changing: “In receiving healing, I discovered my true identity in Christ and learned to surrender my own perspectives for God’s way of seeing.”

In 2012, Brian returned to Northern California and partnered with Crosstown Community Church in Stockton. Through Pastor Kevin White and lay leader Rose Kaufmann, he began applying RLM’s tools outside church walls—ministering to the homeless, victims of violent crimes, and those who felt far from God. What began with street-level encounters grew into RLM courses at Crosstown, now experiencing a revival since June 2024. Brian has also served in leadership with Victims of Violent Crimes of San Joaquin County, extending his ministry to some of the most vulnerable in the community.

Rose's testimony and involvement with rlm

Jason learned that theology was not the same as encountering Jesus in a deeply experiential way. He was first exposed to inner healing and deliverance in 2007 by attending Resurrected Life Ministries (RLM). Initially, he was a skeptical student, challenged by what he witnessed, but he could not deny the positive fruit of the ministry. Eventually, he felt called to help out, so he began volunteering in various areas such as registration and greeting, which they called the "peanut gallery." Later, he became a teacher's assistant and then a teacher/facilitator in training. By 2012, he was officially functioning as an admin. He was blessed to learn from and receive guidance from Molly Sutherland, the late founder of RLM, and other amazing leaders.

During that time, Jason attended Celebrate Recovery (CR) at Crescenta Valley Church. CR was a Christ-centered 12-step program designed to help address issues like hurts, bad habits, codependency, people pleasing, broken instincts, unrealistic expectations, and character defects. He also volunteered at PIHOP (Pasadena International House of Prayer) in Pasadena, CA, which provided a wonderful worship and praise-focused atmosphere. This experience offered him many opportunities to encounter Jesus while serving and equipping the saints.

His passion and pursuit were to see Kingdom identity imparted, Father wounds healed, and hope arise within the body of Christ. He learned that healing was often found beyond his comfort zones, through a combination of faith and desperation. Even when he was unsure, God remained faithful; His love never failed. Much of the fear Jason felt was likely based on lies, half-truths, and his own immature understanding of love. He was still learning to love and trust God to complete the good work He started in him.

Throughout her journey, Beverly learned invaluable lessons about forgiveness and overcoming resentment, which she described as the "forgetfulness from the heart." She embraced the importance of not taking offense, identifying strongholds, and recognizing the lies that the enemy had sown into her life.

After her initial experience, she became an assistant to Wolfgang for three years. During this period, she was gently encouraged to step out of her comfort zone, leading to her liberation from the pressures of performance. She realized that it was ultimately God's ministry and that He had an appointment with her every Monday at 8:30. This understanding helped her relinquish her need to strive and instead learn the beauty of entering into God’s rest through obedience and trust.

As she continued her ministry, Beverly was astonished to witness the healing that took place when she stepped into her role. Eventually, she embraced the position of teacher and facilitator. Now, in 2025, she remains dedicated to guiding her students through encounters with Jesus, helping them revisit painful memories, and healing wounds that had lingered for 30, 40, 50, or even 60 years.

She feels privileged to facilitate the work of the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit every Monday night. With a strict adherence to following their lead, Beverly has been an instrument of many remarkable miracles, creating an atmosphere where healing and transformation flourish. Her ongoing commitment to her students and their journeys showcases her deep faith and passion for ministry, as she continues to play a vital role in their healing and growth.

Eva was first drawn to Resurrected Life Ministries, seeking answers to questions only God could provide. Through her own encounter with God’s transformative love, she was inspired by the Holy Spirit to take all the classes and later to become a teacher under the leadership of Molly Sutherland, founder of Resurrected Life Ministries. Eva now serves as a teacher and board member, helping others experience the same kind of inner restoration and transformation she experienced. Her teaching style is gentle, grounded, and engaging, creating a safe space for people to be vulnerable, receive prayer, and grow in the truth and the knowledge of God’s word.

She counts it a privilege to walk alongside others on their journey toward wholeness and identity in Christ so they can go out and set the captives free.
